Junior and Youth football is where dreams and friendships start. Whether you child has large dreams or small dreams, Wynnum Vikings is a place where a lifelong love of the game or enduring friendships can be made.

Our mission is to provide a fun and safe environment for players and members to learn and participate in the sport of AFL - where families are welcomed and have the opportunity to socialise and enjoy themselves. We aim to be friendly and welcoming to visitors, supporters, umpires, volunteers and players and their families

Team sports provide a range of benefits for young people including resiliance, friendships, working as a team towards a goal, respect and health and fitness. The Wynnum Vikings care about the Viking family which is why we are a Good Sports - Gold Medal Accredited Club.

Players who have started playing Junior football at the Vikings have gone onto playing Senior and Reserve football with the Vikings and other teams. Three ex-Wynnum Juniors in Tarni White (Collingwood AFLW), Blake Coleman (ex-Brisbane Lions) and Keidean Coleman (Brisbane Lions) have even gone onto playing professional football in the AFLW and AFL leagues. 

So wether your child's dreams are big or small or the Wynnum Vikings is the place to be on the bayside.
